This week has been so crazy! Its my final week of school and most my final projects are finished, I am so grateful conference was on Sunday it set a fantastic tone for the entire week. I have thought a lot about my callings at church I am now on the munch and mingle commitay  and of course am a mom, I know I am good mom but have I really been teaching Charlee and have I been studying enough for my self? So I set a goal to read the Book of Mormon this summer and read it to Charlee as well. So we started reading she was not interested in my book very much so of course I went on pinterest and found book of mormon stories for toddlers! She LOVES them and is starting to name characters and things.  In conference they spoke a lot about missionary work which I have been awful at I really should post more on here about it! I promise to work on it! After Friday I will be done at UVU so weird and I will get a break till June so be ready for some fun summer posts! 

Good News & Spring break at Disneyland!!!

Hey friends sorry I know it has been awhile since my last post! But we have been so busy doing fun things! My semester is about to an end yay and I had spring break last week, I was going to take toCharlee Jean to  Disneyland in June for her birthday but I had some exciting news come up that changed our plans! I GOT ACCEPTED INTO A SPECIAL EDUCATION PROGRAM! which means I have about two years of school left! yay there is a silver lining :) Its at Western Governors University so its all online at my own pace and I don't pay per credit I pay for 6 month period which will save me money! So I will start in June I am beyond excited!!! I also got a new job as a Substitute Teacher, why I did this you ask so I can work in all the districts around me and have two years to decide what grade and where I would like to apply to work when I am done.

So now for the fun vacation stuff! We set off to Vegas (only for a night) Charlee Jean and I drove there, then that morning headed to Cali! Where we hit kind of a road bump, car problems, I drove my step dads tahoe and the alternator went out! Not to worry I broke down literally next to a AAA guy who towed me to the AAA shop where they had my car up and on its way in an hour lucky right! We made it to our first spot New Port Beach, my cousins live in Costa Mesa which is ten minutes away so we spent the first half of the week with them! We went to angels stadium, LA zoo, and Laguna beach! Wednesday we headed to Irvine and went on a Easter egg hunt! Then we picked up my mom, step dad and grandma and headed to Anaheim to go to Disneyland! Lets just say it was MAGICAL! Charlee Jean got to meet all the princesses and road everything she was tall enough to ride! She loved it and DID NOT want to come home! It was really fun having all 4 generations there people thought it was amazing! Its something we will be doing every year!

Quarter life crisis!!!

So I decided I wanted to change my hair, so I thought hey summer is coming lets go blonde!!! Yep blonde ha I love it but am still adjusting!!! Ha my sisters are calling it my quarter life crisis! I think it's fun :) Charlee likes it to now we look a like!!!

Pizza night!

Those who wanted my recipe for a healthier pizza here ya go :)

1 whole wheat pre-made crust
1 cup tomato Basil sauce (I use ragu sugar free)
1 1/2 cup Mozzarella cheese (made with skim milk)
1/2 cup turkey pepperoni

Pre heat oven for 450 right before you pop it in set it for 425 then cook for ten minutes :) fun to make with the family! (At least Charlee likes to help)

good bye 2012 hello 2013!

well i have just been a stinker about blogging! (well thats what my cousin erica said ;) ) well 2013 came and hit us hard we have so many goals this year! I am back at UVU another semester loving my large (17) credit class load! dont know what i was thinking haha! Charlee is back at the WEE care loving every minute being back at school!! Charlee is also back in gymnastics, she has gotten so strong and good the teacher suggested she go up to the next class! (so up to the threes class she is in the tot class)  we might even do soccer this year too! Charlee's best friend Kloe had her 3rd birthday where my old childhood best friend "sent" a princess to come visit all the girls loved it! I can not believe how fast charlee is growing! but on the other hand I gained a million pounds last year so i enrolled in boot camp, ditched the diet coke, and started to eat very clean and healthy! I honestly feel amazing and really good about my self! I hit this frumpy single mom stage NOT GOOD PEOPLE! i have already lost 15 pounds! i would like to enter a fitness (well bikini) competition in april if i can get my flat abs by than! I also made it a goal to run a 5K this year and the Rangar in vegas in Nov. I am doing well in school and am making it a goal to not let my fitness goals ruin my hard work in school :) and the best of all our goals is I am surprising Miss Charlee with a Disney Land trip for her birthday! this year her birthday had to land on fathers day! really i mean really poor kid :/ so i thought hell screw fathers day! (not that i dont love my dad or step day) we are going to cali to spend the week together what is a better way to forget your dad is not around than to go see disney princesses :) I cant wait to tell her every time we watch disney movies and she sees the castle with the shooting star she tells me she wants to live there someday! so now we get to visit cause lets be honest i cant afford a castle till i am done with school!
